Huoxiang Zhengqi Shui is a Chinese patent medicine. It is composed of Atractylodes, Tangerine Peel, Magnolia Bark (prepared with ginger), Angelica Dahurica, Poria, Rhizoma Citri Reticulatae, Raw Pinellia, Licorice Extract, Patchouli Oil, and Perilla Leaf Oil. It has the functions of dispelling dampness, regulating qi and harmonizing the middle. It is used for colds caused by exogenous wind-cold, internal injury and dampness stagnation, or summer injury and dampness, with symptoms of headache, heaviness, chest tightness, abdominal distension and pain, vomiting and diarrhea; gastrointestinal colds with the above symptoms.

Dosage
Oral administration: 5-10 ml each time, twice a day, shake well before use.
Adverse Reactions
1. This product may cause nausea, vomiting, rash, itching, dizziness, flushing, palpitations, etc.
2. This product contains ethanol (alcohol). There have been cases of anaphylactic shock after taking this product. The combined use of ethanol (alcohol) with cephalosporins (such as cephalexin, cefuroxime, ceftazidime, etc.), metronidazole, tinidazole, ketoconazole, furazolidone and other drugs may cause disulfiram-like reactions (mainly manifested as facial flushing, headache, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, decreased blood pressure, chest tightness, chest pain, shortness of breath, dyspnea, shock, etc.). There have been cases of convulsions after taking too much of this product.

Precautions

6. This product contains 40%-50% ethanol (alcohol). During the medication period, it should not be used in combination with cephalosporins (such as cephalexin, cefuroxime, ceftazidime, etc.), metronidazole, tinidazole, ketoconazole, furazolidone and other drugs to avoid causing disulfiram-like reactions. In addition, after taking the medicine, you should not drive an airplane, car, or boat, engage in high-altitude operations, mechanical operations, or operate precision instruments.
7. This product contains raw pinellia tuber, which should be taken strictly according to the usage and dosage. It is not suitable for overdose or long-term use. If adverse reactions described in the instructions or other discomfort occur after taking the medicine, the medicine should be discontinued. If the symptoms are serious, go to the hospital for treatment in time.
8. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medicine for 3 days, you should go to the hospital for treatment.
9. People who are allergic to this product and alcohol are forbidden to use. People with allergic constitution should use with caution.
10. It is forbidden to use this product when its properties change.

Drug interactions
This product contains 40%-50% ethanol (alcohol). When used in combination with cephalosporins or drugs that are prone to disulfiram reactions, the concentration of acetaldehyde in the blood may increase, resulting in a disulfiram reaction. Therefore, during the medication period, it should not be used in combination with cephalosporins (such as cephalexin, cefuroxime, ceftazidime, etc.), metronidazole, tinidazole, ketoconazole, furazolidone and other drugs to avoid disulfiram-like reactions.
